How Datanario runs
Datanario is built on established, widely used infrastructure providers. This page explains, in plain terms, where your data lives and how your site, your inquiries and your emails are looked after.
Hosting
Datanario runs on Google Cloud in the European Union. Your site, dashboard, database and media files run on managed cloud services, and the database is backed up automatically every day.
Your data stays yours
Each client's catalogue, inquiries, subscribers and media are kept separate from every other client's. Only your own team can sign in to your site's dashboard, and your media files are stored in a space reserved for your site.
Inquiry notifications and newsletters are sent through the email service of Amazon Web Services in the European Union. Emails can be sent from your own domain, signed with the standard checks inboxes use to trust a sender (SPF, DKIM and DMARC). Bounces, spam complaints and unsubscribes are handled automatically, so people who opt out are never emailed again.
Protection
Public forms, such as contact forms, video inquiries and newsletter sign-ups, are protected against bots by Cloudflare. Every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Datanario never sees or stores card numbers.
Privacy
Your data is stored and processed in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection under UK GDPR. For details of what we collect, why, and your rights, read our Privacy Policy.
